I think a full answer needs to address three facets of this condition. First, what is happening in our body when we develop chronic breathing tension and experience air hunger? Second, what triggers the onset of these dysfunctional breathing patterns? And third, what makes our breathing vulnerable to these triggers such that we end up developing chronic breathing tension? In this article, I’ll seek to address these three aspects of the onset of air hunger.
